Irene Baker started assisting families in need, in her own basement as far back as 1982.
By August 15, 1985 the Centre was incorporated as a non-profit, REGISTERED charity organization.
(Our Registration number is 11917-2856-RR0001).
Volunteer based charity
for 40 years.
Not Government Funded.
Our mandate is to feed the hungry, while leaving them with a sense of dignity.
We are continually blessed with donations from the local community.
We then distribute our donations FREE of charge to our registered families who have shown need.
We do not sell any item.
We issue official income tax receipts for any funding donations & in-kind receipts for purchased donations with original receipts. Max $1,000 or pre-approved by Board of Directors. (Please see our page on how to make a donation)
