NOTE: ALL Children MUST be left at home, this location is not equipped to handle several members from one family.  There are space and safety issues when it comes to little ones. Absolutely no day care is provided and children MAY NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED while you access our program.  The Board of Directors will not grant any exceptions.

 1.- How do I register at Ste. Louise Outreach for assistance ?

YOU NEED TO COME IN, see our info on required paperwork, location and hours of operation.

All food banks are extremely busy at Christmas time, therefore  each  year between Nov 1 and
Jan 1 there are no changes from one food bank to another.
Where ever the last center served you is where you need to go for assistance at Christmas.  Any
changes must wait until the new year. 

New registrations
between Nov 1 and Dec 24th must first provide Names and Date of birth for all adults in the
household prior to service.  A database check will be done prior to any service to ensure you are
not on another food banks client list.  This takes approximately 1 week.

 2.- Do I need an appointment  ?   When can I come ?

     NO appointment necessary.

     We serve by number upon arrival.

     Doors will not open until start time  Tues, Thurs @ 10am Sat @10:30

3.- What monthly paperwork is required ? 
 
      The following info: MUST BE IN FULL DATED FOR PREVIOUS MONTH

1. ID for all members in your Household (original- start of each year)
2. Proof of Address (bill or income statement or bank statement) Monthly
3. Proof of ALL Income in the Household (EVERY MONTH)
4. Proof of Rent (Need Lease or Mortgage papers on file)
5. Full Bank Statement or up-to-date Bank Book or Money Mart Receipt
(NOT just an account balance) > Needs to be for the entire previous month
6. Personal Profile > Account Summary (List of all bank accounts on File)1x
7. Case Worker info if necessary (1x)


4.- What will I receive on my first visit, when I register ? 
       This service is not currently available
AN EMERGENCY ORDER
- Small box of food
- Bread
- Baby food & diapers (If Infants)
- Fresh Vegetables (Seasonal Approx. from July to November)

5.- When can I return after Registering and receiving an emergency order ? Not available at this time

Same month, after an administration check completed.
Normally within a week (No Guarantee)
YOU MUST CALL US TO VERIFY CHECK COMPLETE.

Then 1 time each calendar month on the day BEST FOR YOU.
NOTE:  IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EVER 30 days
6.- Do I need an appointment for my monthly visit ? 

NO, just arrive ON TIME with correct paperwork.
7.- Do I need paperwork every monthly visit ? 

YES
4 ORIGINAL Documents FOR EACH ADULT in HOUSEHOLD

1.   Proof of Address
2. Proof of ALL Income in the Household
3. Proof of Rent
4. Full Bank Statement or up-to-date Bank Book or Money Mart Receipt
(NOT just an account balance)  For every Account

MUST BE ENTIRE PREVIOUS MONTH from the 1st to the 31st
8.- How much food can I receive every monthly visit ? 

ALWAYS DEPENDENT ON FAMILY SIZE AND AVAILABILITY
Generally:
Infants (0-18 months) 
          baby food is given out in separate small boxes 
NOT included when counting children for # boxes

Baby Limits: 
(Max 2 powder Formula or 12 liquid / Max 4 Cereals / NO Limit on Jars)

Family Size (Per household) Food Order Size

DO NOT COUNT  INFANTS 0-18 months) WHEN DETERMINING # OF BOXES


1 18-21yrs  split from family = 1 Box of Food 
1 Adult (& upto 1 child) = 2 Boxes of Food
1 Adult & 2-3 Children = 3 Boxes of Food
1 Adult & 4+ Children = 4 Boxes of Food MAX
2 Adults = 2 Boxes of Food
2 Adults & 1-2 Children = 3 Boxes of Food
2 Adults & 3+ Children = 4 Boxes of Food MAX

 4 > MAXIMUM PER HOUSEHOLD (Street Address)
                                Each box is 40-50 lbs depending on season
9.- What will I receive ? 

Food (non perishables), 2-4 boxes plus 
Drinks, plus 
Bread, plus 
Frozen 
Personal Hygiene Products
Clothes (used & new)
Household Items
Toys (used & new > seasonal)
School Supplies (September)
Furniture (seasonal)
